The Pier Section plays a key role in our seaport operations when it comes to our container yard and vessel management. This division has three major procedures that daily generate Port revenue. These procedures are: Container Tracking, Vessel Manifest, and Storage Yard Inventory.
The first two operations are consistent with pier protocols that avoid interference and disruption in our Port Services. These protocols include the: Manifest Load and Discharge List, Cargo Landed List, Vessel Crew List, and Incoming and Outgoing Containers.
It is mandatory for all vessels to provide a crew list before arrival and leaving our Port. This allows Port to manage our traffic towards the public and customers in cases of unforeseen circumstance in collaboration with Seaport Security and Safety Division.
The Container Tracking procedure validates the content of the container before its arrival. It includes the Vessel Manifest Discharge and Load Listing for Pier Section to assure a smooth process of container activities from the vessel to our yard. The container log for incoming and outgoing containers conducted during this process certifies the accurate number of containers when the Storage Yard Inventory procedure is in play.
The Vessel Manifest procedure is similar to our Container Tracking services but differs in one major role. This process validates the vessel type and its preferences from incoming and outgoing container ships to fishing boats. Although there are other operations in our Port, all vessel maneuvers conducted is documented and in compliance with United States Coast Guard regulations.
The Storage Yard Inventory procedure is conducted on a bi-weekly timeline for Port statistics and overview of our yard traffic. This verifies the number of empty or full containers in the Port Yard that are in queue for loading or delivery. The Port revenue is also generated during this process that contributes to our local economy.
